• Testing OS Kernels on a Virtual Machine

    I’ve written a C+ Assembly kernel to be used in conjunction with my operating system (Windows 8). I’m having problem testing it though because it cannot easily be run on top of the OS. Is it possible to use a virtual machine to emulate my computers hardware for the test?
