As others have stated, this is a strange problem and more information is needed to assist.

Could there be a port blocking issue? Maybe this website uses a port other than 80 or 443 for access.

Most consumer broadband modems/routers are simple devices such that if you changed the IP address of your client computer, it will not be able to communicate with the modem/router, unless it is capable of routing between internal subnets.

In addition to providing the name of the site that comes up, please specify the exact error message.

I know it’s odd, but I’ve had some VERY odd problems with that program in the past, that would only affect certain sites/programs from functioning correctly.
