OWA 2K3 opening O2K7 docs

OWA 2003, Outlook 2007, Outlook Web Access

when trying to open O2K7 docs within OWA 2K3, OWA prompts to save the attachment instead of opening the attachment. I've been thru a few things (adding the extensions to ESMs global settings, adding the extensions to known mime types in the reg of the owa server, etc...) but can't get the myriad of extensions to open directly and am constantly asked to save the file. DOCX is working now, but the rest of the extensions aren't being as cooperative. the extensions I am trying to have open without saving is docm, docx, dotm, dotx, ppsm, ppsx, pptm, pptx, xlsb, xlsm, xlsx, xps. The microsoft articles that I found referencing these mime types tell the admins to:

- remove "application/octet-stream" from the Level2MIMETypes value
- add "application/octet-stream" to the KnownContentTypes value
- restart the Microsoft Exchange System Attendant

** Note the security impact this could have as it will allow users to open all
unknown attachment types

would like to know if anyone else is having issues opening excel 2k7 docs within OWA and if not, share the knowledge with me on what you did to fix it... :-) Thanks if advance...
