Output queue monitor
Hi,
Software/Hardware used:
AS400
I'm trying to receive spool files as email attachments from CL program. In order to do this, I've created an output queue monitor from i Navigator and linked a report distribution list to the monitor. I changed the program to override the spool file to the output queue being monitored, but I didn't get the email when I ran the program. Should I specifically start the monitor by issuing the command STRMONOND to receive the emails? The monitor status in the navigator is 'Ready to run'. We are on version 7.1.

I don’t have on-demand services available to test, but it’s hard to think of any way to make it work if you haven’t started the server yet.

Thank you. I was thinking that might be the case but was not sure as the status of the monitor in the navigator says ‘Ready to Run’.
