In a corporate configuration of the POP Send/Receive on the Outlook side, it appears that selecting the "Disable Scheduled Send/Receive" setting does not work to prevent auto-send receive. I was recently migrated to a newer laptop, but the older desktop had the same sw config, Win7Pro & Outlook 2007. Would there be a setting in Gmail or someplace else in Outlook that is controlling or over-riding this selection. I do not want to perform a local Send/Receive in Outlook unless and until I want it to happen. I believe the mailboxes are being sync'd via Google Sync. But I cannot find a way to make Outlook the the controller for sending and receiving emails. Any guidance would be appreciated if possible. Thank you for looking
