how do I get permission to send from the inbox of my boss with whom I share Outlook? We run Outlook via Exchange Server.

The Exchange Admin needs to grant you send as permissions to your bosses mailbox in Active Directory for your account.

    You could have delegate permissions set on the Managers's inbox and u could then also have send as permissions set on his Account. This would basically allow u to configure his mailbox as a secondary one
