When I create an appointment in the Outlook share calendar, it appears on my personal inbox calendar as well. How do I get it to stop appearing in my personal inbox calendar?

Scroll down to where the different calendars ate listed.  There are boxes next to each one, just put a check mark in the ones that you want to show up in your area and uncheck the ones that you do not want to see.
