Outlook Send To List Box
Hello, when i open a new email message and hit the TO button, a Send To List Box comes up, and in that box (with contacts selected) i see some dual entries. It shows the contact's email address but also their business fax. This is bothersome and i have tried everything i can to change this view option, or filter out this double entry appearance, since i am not likely ever to send a fax via outlook. What do you suggest?

Answer Wiki:
the only way I have seen anyone get around this is just in front of the fax number put an alphabetical letter or word like "FAX" and it will no longer show up. ***edit*** I also found this: http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/nofax.asp which includes the above and another option.

Thank you! The options available at the site are exactly what i needed. The option to change the name of the field and add the word fax before the number made it possble to keep the fax number in the field, but with a new name so it won’t show up in the address book when sending an email, and he can still recognize it as a fax because it says fax, even though the field is now called other.
Thanks!
