When one of our email users updates an appointment on a resource calendar she gets an update notification sent to her own email.
She has the resource set up on her folder list in outlook, which is a direct MAPI connection, not running in cached mode. She schedules appointments in the resource calendar and they show the resource as the organizer, but when she updates them she gets a "this meeting has been forwarded" message to her personal email from exchange. The resource was set up as a user account, not a shared mailbox or a room resource on Exchange 2007. It is used as a central mailbox location several administrators can send meeting requests from so no one person will be listed as the organizer and if an admin leaves anyone with access can change the meeting. I just don't get the forward notification. Any ideas?

Patch level please…
Just kidding
This is the kind of question I would expect you to answer, so, let’s see if somebody else can provide help on this topic.
Yeah, it’s been a real puzzle.
Just for you – all our servers and applications are at the latest patch level – Exchange 2007 SP1 rollup 5, Outlook 2003 SP3 and 2007 SP1 with latest rollups and hotfixes.
And I have tried this from both the 2003 and the 2007 client for her, same results. It really doesn’t make any sense to me!
And gee I was hoping you had the answer too! Cmon now, shake a leg!
Check the email forwarding for the attendees in AD. Sounds like there is some sort of email forwarding going on.
Yeah I did check that, and there is no forwarding going on either in AD or by a rule in the user’s account.
