check that the AV is not causing this issue….. this is because the AV normally takes a copy of the email and places it in memory to check for viruses. The AV should then delete this cache ut has been know to duplicate if there are issues.

Is this a PST of an ISP account or is this an exchange account? When you say reeceived three times do you mean three copies in the inbox folder or a copy received into three different folders (rules could cause this as previously suggested.) Thanks.
