Hi. I am but a humble computer repair guy but I'm really new to Exchange. I've been given a task I'm not able to fix and Microsoft say they'd charge me £200 to even begin talking to me about this problem so that's why I'm here.
I have a client who brought several exchange accounts from Go-daddy and had four of them running on a Windows 7 machine. Then a couple of weeks back, Outlook (365 HP) would freeze up and I found that it was one of the accounts that was to blame so I removed it and all was fine again BUT we need this account to work on that computer. Now, when I try to re-add it or any other Exchange account I get the following error:
"The action cannot be completed.the connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete the action."
The other three Exchange accounts still work ok. Making a new profile doesn't help. I've tried talking to Go-daddy but they say it's not their problem but an Outlook issue. I'm kinda worried to reinstall Outlook in case I can't reinstall the other accounts which would be disastrous.
Would really appreciate a helping hand here. Cheers in advance, guys!
Software/Hardware used: Windows 7 HP, Outlook 365 HP.
