Outlook Delegates
All - My question is regarding Outlook delegates, I want to setup Outlook so that my manager gets meeting invites but and this is the tricky part, that all peoples acceptances and declines go to me (his assistant). Please let me know if clarification is needed. Thank you.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Once you are added as a delegate to his account his choices are Deliver meeting requests addressed to me and responses to meeting requests where I am the organizer to:

1. My delegates only, but send a copy of meeting requests and responses to me (recommended)

2. My delegates only

3. My delegates and me.

These are the only options. Sorry that is just how it is designed and the only choices available.

  • HowTo

Set up an email rule that divert meeting invitations from your bosse's email to yours.   From Outlook email, choose Tools-Rules and Alerts.  New Rule.  Check messages when they arrive.  Check the box by Which is a meeting invitation or update.  Next.  Check the box by Redirect it to people or distribution listThen click that link to add the email address for the person that should receive invitations and responses. Next.  Name the rule.  Finish.   Hope this helps.
