Hi There,

I have come accross the same issue as well. I recently migrated an SBS 2003 to SBS 2008 which comes with Exchange 2007. Users are all using Outlook 2007 and they kept being asked for the password for the remote.domain.com.

Came accross this website which explains that it is an issue with Auto Discovery and the URLs which need to be entered into Exchange for the location of the Auto Discovery. Link to the Site: Outlook 2007 Keeps asking for password. Also, make sure you upgrade Exchange 2007 to SP3

Have you checked Account Settings/Email-Change/More Settings/Security and made sure that the box that says "Always prompt for logon credentials" is not checked? If the user is not on the same domain as the rest of you, you might try to navigate to "%userprofile%AppDataRoamingMicrosoftProtect" and rename the single folder in there (don't delete just in case) After that open Outlook, type in username and password, close Outlook. When you re-open Outlook again there should not be an issue. And of course both of these are assuming you checked the box "remember my password" the first time.
