I have these issue which is making me restless, Outlook keeps promoting for User credentials,

I am using Exchange 2010 server and connecting using Outlook 2010

I have correctly configure setting for Outlook, and I am in the Domain.

My question is there something that has to be done at server or need to change local system setting?

Go to ‘Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Manage Your Credentials -> Look under Generic Credentials’.

Edit the Microsoft Outlook *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
and change the password. Now launch your Outlook 2010 again to ensure
that it is working or not.

@Redhot2006 Other things to look at that i have seen: User account lockout but im almost sure this is not your issue Network that drops also sometimes contributes to Outlook asking for credentials again And then AD authentication issues can also have a significant contribution to the issue you are having, And lastly, what ive seen with outlook 2007 is that when its not up to date with sp2 some users also gets prompted for username and password all the time, Hope this helps, Regards

I had this issue and found that the Microsoft Exchange System Attendant service was not running.  Started it up and it seems to have fixed the issue.
