after migrating exchange 2000 to new hardware, and removing it form the old one, we are having intermittent outlook problems specially when we reboot the old server though the migration process went smoothly following microsoft recommendations, outlook 97/98 are the most affected systems however outlook 2000 and 2003 are less affected please help

Check all your hardware connections. I have seen a loose modem cause issues in Outlook.
