 Outlook error message
Recently I have gotten the error message... "This operation hs been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer.  Please contact your system administrator.

Are you trying to open an attachment in the email? By default, Outlook restricts opening certain attachments in email because they can contain malicious software. To work around this requires modifying system files on your computer.

This error message is usually something that happens when you try to open an attachment. I’ve heard that it is usually a corruption in registry settings for your browser that are setting off security alarms. You might want to change your default browser to Firefox or Chrome to see if the problem goes away (or from whatever your default browser is). There are some instructions on which registry keys to edit here -
