I converted a pst to pdf. I get an error when trying to open a .msg attachment within the pdf file.

Software/Hardware used:
Vista, Outlook 2007

When you converted the pst to a pdf you will have converted the attachment to a link. I don’t think you will be able to open it. Same effect as when you convert a Word document with an embedded file the embedded file can’t be opened.

if you want to open the attachment it will have to be through the original pst

    Thank you for getting back to me. I have been able to view an .msg attachment within other PDF's I converted from a pst. Could this cause be from the size of the pst when it was converted to PDF? the PST size is about 1gb

    I'm curious with your use of PDF... Do you mean an Adobe PDF file or what other program and file type uses the PDF extension?
