Open office is focused on document editing. OpenOffice.org doesn’t have an Outlook equivalent. But still Outlook can be used, you can use Outlook‘s address books with OpenOffice.org.
It does not have an integrated eMail/Calendar client application but Open Source based applications can be used with it.
Such applications include: Mozilla Thunderbird with the Lightning Calendaring extension, Gnome Evolution, Kontact etc.
