Is there anybody who can shed some light regarding Outlook XP mailbox that doesn't show any items on deleted folder? If you attempt to recover deleted items an error prompts you that something is wrong with outlook and that familiar windows screen with Send.. and Don't Send pops up. Any thoughts?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Are you using Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express. I am also not to sure about what you mean when you try to recover the deleted items. What did you do to get the error message?

    1. You can get rid of that "familiar message" by right-clicking on my computer and selecting properties. On the advanced tab, click the Error Reporting button. Check the radio button that says "Disable Error Reporting." 2. On the Exchange Server, DS Site Configuration Properties, make sure you have a value in the Tombstone Lifetime (how ever many days you wish to keep deleted messages on the server for recovery purposes). I'm talking from an Exchange 5.5 server, so if you're running 2000 or 2003, I'm not sure where you will locate that setting.

I am using Outlook. Normally when you go to "Recover Deleted Items" a window appears with a list of recoverable messages including a toolbar at the top of the window. What's happening is that since opening the window with supposedly list of recoverable items, when you close it here comes another window with an error message of Send.. Don't Send..
