The cache file is not on the Exchange server, it is on the local computer as a .ost file. If you want to clear that follow these steps
<li>Turn off Outlook and all other related applications that may use ost file. do a search for the ost file in the Outlook folder .
Unhide the hidden files in Programs files>>Outlook
Do search for the ost file. either rename it or delete it</li>
