Q:
OUtlook Calendar question: I don't want my name to be the first words in the calendar title when I share a calendar.
I have created a district wide calendar to share with many people. However, I am unhappy that when they accept sharing, it shows up in their calendar list with my name as the first two words of the title (i.e.  Jane Doe - District Calendar). This seems to confuse people, plus I don't need my name in all their lists.  Is there a way it can be retitled simply as "District Calendar"??  Or even "District Calendar - Jane Doe" would be an improvement.

Seems like it should be simple, but I haven't found a solution.  Thanks.

I looked into this, thinking that there might be a way to rename your calendar - but no luck. It appears that renaming is not an option in Outlook 2007. If this is an Exchange system, you can create a calendar within a shared public folder to get away from having your own name on it.

I agree with AndreaF. You should create this calendar object in the public folders.
