My Outlook 2007 will not accept e-mails from only one address-- that belonging to my boss. It doesn't even shunt them to my junk e-mail folder; I only receive notice of them in my daily spam report. I can read the original message only if I access my e-mail account via webmail, where it shows up in my spam box.
To remedy the problem, I have added the target address to my safe senders list and turned off all spam filtering. But these methods haven't succeeded.
Help?

Can you provide any specific error messages received? There may be a 500 series error message from the server. Do you have any other rules on your mailbox that may be placing these messages into a personal folder (PST) somewhere?
I don’t receive an error message, per se; I only receive a daily digest notifying me of the junk e-mails that I’ve received (but they’re not located in the junk e-mail folder). Actually, I don’t think I should even get a daily digest because I turned off spam filtering to figure this problem out.
I do have a rule set up for the e-mail from the target address to go to a designated folder. I turned off the rule, but I still can’t receive e-mails from that person.
I checked all of my folders to find these e-mails, but to no avail.
Is this an exchange account? Or a POP3 account with your Internet provider or something?
It’s IMAP..
Have you tried running the cleanrules switch? Close outlook, go to start, run, and type outlook.exe /cleanrules.
Thanks for the tip. I ran cleanrules, but e-mails from my boss still bounce.
What program is generating and sending that ‘daily spam report’ ?
The e-mail program (www.1and1.com) sends the digests (example below). These e-mails do show up in the spam folder when I use webmail, but they cannot be found in Outlook.

Update:
I have not made changes to Outlook since running cleanrules, but I was able to receive two group e-mails from my boss yesterday. When we tested it just now, however, her e-mail sent only to me went straight to my webmail spam folder.
There is not a problem with your Outlook settings – the issue is with the outside hosting system you referred to as “”www.1and1.com”". since the E-Mails from your boss are not reaching your inbox at the hosting site your Outlook can not down load them. Contact your E-Mail hosting company technical support and they will advise you how to modify the spam settings on their system to prevent e-mail from your boss getting sent to your SPAM folder.
