 Outlook automatically moves entire inbox to my blackberry!

I was wondering if there was a way to make it so only newly received messages will be moved to my blackberry. Today I deleted all the old email messages from my blackberry and at some point they were all replaced! Can anyone help?

If you open the Blackberry Desktop manager on your desktop you can change the filter rules and set it to transfer only new messages.
