I have a user that is locally connected to the domain, Every 5 minutes or so outlook promopts her to enter her password. She does and checks remember password to no avail, it comes back a few minutes later, she remains online and gets her emails just this annoying authentication box keeps popping up.

Check the email account properties. (Go to tools, email accounts, leave on “view or change” then click “more settings). On the security tab, make sure “Always prompt for logon credentials” is not checked. It sounds like she is getting prompted on every send/receive.

Check also to see if the user is setup to use RPC over HTTP. We have seen this create authentication issues if not enabled at the Exchange server.

    She's a local user, should this apply, when I go to < More settings> <connections tab> the box is unchecked that says connect to my exchange mailbox using HTTP.

    Well if this is only happening to one user it will not be a server issue, it will be a local client issue on her work PC. Did you heck the security settings to see if "Always prompt for logon credentials" is checked?

    Have you checked the box of save password column. Just follow these steps: > Open outlook > Go to the account settings > now check up the save password box. After that restart the outlook once. For more help you can visit at: www.iyogi.net
