 Outlook and Sending Messages
I can't send messages in outlook but I can receive them. It gives me an error message that the connection was interrupted. I went to the help page of AT&T and did what I was supposed to do but it still will not work. I'm constantly getting a pop up window with this error. Help!

This means that there is a problem with your outgoing server aka the SMTP server. I went to the ATT website and verified the settings that were there. <a href="http://support.att.net/bellsouth/asp/contentview.asp?sprt_cid=ab71658f-2123-481a-b801-60d5480e03d1&UserType=DSL&bs_pid=UnifiedHelp&bs_prid=HavingaProblem3">http://support.att.net/bellsouth/asp/contentview.asp?sprt_cid=ab71658f-2123-481a-b801-60d5480e03d1&UserType=DSL&bs_pid=UnifiedHelp&bs_prid=HavingaProblem3</a> Normally when you are in the situation you are in - it is the outgoing servers authentication that is not checked: Check the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication checkbox. If the Incoming Mail Server (POP3) for the account being setup is your AT&T account (fpostoffice.isp.att.net) than: Choose Use same settings as my incoming mail server and click OK. And of course make sure you are using an ATT internet line or this will always fail.
