 Outlook Address Cache
Does anyone know how to clear the address book cache in Outlook 2003? To explain, when I go to my "To" lines and begin typing a name, a list auto populates with people who's email addresses begin with that particular letter combination. So, I type M in the window and 15 "M" names come up. The problem is that I've moved to a new company and a new exchange server. My address book does not have any of the names that are coming up but they were people from my previous company. For whatever reason, these names are still coming up. I've cleaned out all of the old mailbox files from docs & settingslocal settingsmicrosoftoutlook... My adderss book is correct but these names still come up. Couldn't find anything in registry. Any ideas.

Answer Wiki:
To fix this problem, there are two ways around this. The easiest way is this: Start typing in the address that shows up incorrectly. Hit the Down arrow key to select the auto completed address. Hit the Delete key to delete the auto complete address The other way is by opening the profile folder and deleting the .nk2 file. Open up windows explorer, and paste the following into the address bar: %APPDATA%MicrosoftOutlook Delete the Outlook.NK2 file that you find in this folder.

Thanks! I didn’t know you could delete entries from the popup. That worked perfectly! Thanks for the advice.
