Outlook 2007 send/receive error
Was using Outlook Express and upgraded to 2007. Since the upgrade, I have been unable to Send/Receive It salways says 2 items complete or 6 items complete but nothing happens. I am able to send emails but I cannot get none. If i use the express again, I will get all my mail no problem. Have checked and rechecked the settings, that not the problem.i have deleted and started using a new profile, same result. I checked for errors using office checker. Still no end in sight. Does anyone have the solution to this? Would really ap[preciate the help.

well the first question is it running on a mac operating system?assuming its not running on a machintosh operating system,im not quite sure if my memory serves me right, i think people run that kind of issue when upgrading the software..but normally it should work, did you ask your internet service provider regarding about the correct settings..bec.certain internet service providers have their own settings(like example earthlink has it own settings for outlook express)..i suggest checked with them first..but make sure your connected to the internet when checking your mails..many people tend to forget

I am running on a PC. It is within a network and others who who have been upgraded experienced no problem with their mail. I am sure I’m online and the settings are correct. Outlook Express works fine but 2007 is still problematic.
Have you changed your default mail program to outlook instead of outlook express?
Yes. Outlook is set to default, though i’m not sure what difference that would have made. Wouldn’t it still pull the mail when I do a send receive.?
