Outlook 2007 Not Enough Memory when trying to view a shared mailbox.

We are using Outlook 2007/Exchange 2003. Since last Wednesday, a small part of our users have been getting the error "Not Enough Memory to Perform this Operation" when just trying to open or view a shared/department mailbox. We made no system changes, but there was an automatic update from Microsoft. Everyone is on XP with sufficient memory(we even added up to 3gig for testing, still same situation). The affected users have department mailboxes that are rather large, but other users with the same access and hardware configuration do not have the issue. PST files are on the local, and I have tried stopping programs and increasing the process priority. Does anyone have any troubleshooting steps for me or have seen this issue before? Also, both the local client and the web client give the same error.

The problem might occurred due to virtual memory. To overcome this issue, u may do : My Computer > Properties > Performance tab > Change And in Virtual Memory DB, u can change the parameters for paging file After changing settings, click Set, and OK. Now close and restart computer.

Considering this error occurs specifically in Outlook and the article I suggested gives references to specific limitations in Outlook that would cause this error it is not likely this is a virtual memory error, but an error specific to Outlook as the article suggests with solutions specific to Outlook including the forms cache file. But of course anything is worth a try. I would look at the Outlook solutions first if it were me.
