Are you connected to an exchange server? If this is an exchange email system you could request the creation of a shared mailbox or resource and set the meetings up from that mailbox. Then you would not be the organizer and if you leave someone else can take over the control of that mailbox and be able to still update and cancel meetings previously set up. If you are not in an exchange organization I really do not know what to recommend. Please provide more details. Thanks.
