Hi There,

I have come accross the same issue as well. I recently migrated an SBS 2003 to SBS 2008 which comes with Exchange 2007. Users are all using Outlook 2007 and they kept being asked for the password for the remote.domain.com.

Came accross this website which explains that it is an issue with Auto Discovery and the URLs which need to be entered into Exchange for the location of the Auto Discovery. Link to the Site: Outlook 2007 Keeps asking for password. Also, make sure you upgrade Exchange 2007 to SP3

Hello,

Thanks for responding. As for troubleshooting, here are things I have checked so far.

- Verified Autodiscover settings and that it is set up correctly
- Checked IIS security settings for Exchange directories
- Checked server settings on Outlook client setup - Using cached mode and always prompt for logon credentials is unchecked

What is strange is this is only happening for certain users. I've even had to unlock some of their active directory accounts. We have ours set to get locked out after more than 5 unsuccessful login attempts.

I've also tried blowing away a couple of the user's Outlook profiles and recreating them, but that doesn't seem to help.

I also had installed Update Rollup 10 for Exchange 2007 SP1, but I heard it had broken some things, so I uninstalled it and left it at Update Rollup 9.

Thanks again for your help,
Brandon
