My outlook 2007 clients, connected to an exchange 2007 , can't send mails with a dot in the address ( something like [strong][em]
name.surname) but if i send with OWA it works. I tried all over the net trying to find an awnser to this but i cannot find it. I can send in my outlook to all recipients and to all domains except if the recipient address contains a dot (.) ( name.surname@ ... ; ####.###@ ... )[/em][/strong]@something.com
note : i get an 0x8004010F error
note2 : i can send without problems in OWA
Exchange 2007 SP2 x64 and Windows 2008 x64 for server; Outlook 2007 Enterprise x86 and Windows 7 Ultimate x86 for client
I hope you understand what i'm asking and if i can get an awnser.
thx in advance...

I have not worked with Windows 7 yet so I can’t tell you if that is part of the issue or not. Possibly. Do you have all the latest servie packs and patches for Outlook 2007 installed?
I have all service packs in both office ( 2007 sp2) and W7.
i haven’t tried on any other o.s. because in my company everything is with Windows 7.
still waiting for a reply
i’ve found the problem ::
the Microsoft exchange system attendant service stopped, only needed to start it again
