 Outlook 2007 Auto-Configuration
Outlook 2007, Outlook 2007 configuration
Hi Guys,

With all of my client except for two the Auto-Configuration works fine.

With the other two, when they open outlook for the first time instead of being prompted with the Auto-Configuration screen they get prompted with the Create New profile page.

What can cause this?

They are Exchange 2007 accounts. I believe it is something to do with the Outlook install possibly the MAPI dlls!

If you go into the Control Panel and open Mail, are there any profiles currently existing there?

No profiles there at all.

Even tried a brand new user on the computer and it does the same.

So this appears to be local to that pc. Correct? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling office? Are all MS patches applied? Is this Outlook 2007? Was it a fresh install of 2007 or an upgrade from 2003?
