		<description><![CDATA[Thanks for your suggestions all, I actually did end up just creating a new Windows profile, and that got rid of the issue.
I am still curios as to what caused the problem and if it can actually be fixed. I did not want to spend anymore time on the computer without too much info on the problem, so I decided to just do that.

I now know that it is specific to that user account in XP, because I logged in under my account, created my email profile and did all without any problems, but coul not figure out what is causing it.
