Outlook 2003 problem

I recently installed MS Office 2003 over Office XP. I now have two complete Personal Folders. Messages are sorted to both of these, except sometimes a message goes to one but not the other. This is awkward. How do I get rid of one of these?

Move the mail from one to the other, then right-click on the empty folder and select "Close folder".
