Q:
Outlook 2003 Junk E-mail Folder in Spanish
We have a user that noticed her Junk E-mail folder was in Spanish. The rest of the folders are in English. Outlook won't allow me to just rename it. Not a major issue, it still works regardless of the language it is written in, just more curiosity of why and if it could be changed. Thanks.

Try resetting the folder names. At the Start menu, select the Run command and type:
Outlook /resetfoldernames

You might have to use the full path to Outlook, so the command line would look like:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.exe /resetfoldernames

If your install did not use the defaults for location, you might have to do a bit of searching to find the correct directory.
Good Luck!

This reminds me of a similar problem…

I have a friend whose spell check in Outlook 2007 has changed to Portuguese… which makes it pointless. The IT folks have gone in and tried to check all of his language settings, in Windows, in Word, and in Outlook, and all are set to English (U.S.)… any ideas?
