 outlook 2003 is not archiving some items older than a specified date
I am experiencing the situation that "Archive" is not archiving all emails that suppose to be included when "items are older than the specified Date". I get otherones but not all of them. Thank you.

One little-known fact about archiving is that the auto-archive operates on last MODIFED date, not RECEIVE date. You can add the header for modified in the email list and sort by modified date. Any emails that have been modifed after they were recieved will not be archived until that modified date reaches the archive criteria. Oh and if you set up cached mode on a new pc ALL email will be changed to a modified date of the day you set it up in cached mode. Been there researched that one... very frustrating. I had a manager who complained that none of his email was archiving and that is when I found out this wonderful "feature". He had just set up outlook on cached mode that day on a new pc. ------------------- Thank You! That was exactly the problem....Thank You!
