if i remove an exisitng outlook email account will all the email already in my inbox dissapear? I've switched mail hosting providers and setup another outlook to get email until the old one stops functioning.

The first outlook account file is still in your computer/laptop if you delete or remove your account.. If you remove your account and config new one so only new email account working not old one because old one email setting you delete…..  

If you using both so re-connect your old one email…..

    You could create the new account first then import the old pst file into your new profile. That would prob be the easiest way.
