We have recently moved from an Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007 SP1, with update rollup 1 on top of that. Recently, we have had a number of user complain that when they save an Out of Office Assistant (OOA) message, it is not sending out the new message but is sending out an old message. They check the message content in their OL2003 client and the new message saved. Somehow an old OOA message is used to reply to incoming messages.
We also have a BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1sp4. So, it seems that messages for OOA could be saved and turned on via BlackBerry, Outlook Web Access, or desktop OL2003 client. When the problem with the old message occurs, I make sure all messages are removed and empty text is stored in all 3 locations. Then I have the user go in and update with the new message.
My Question: Is this a bug in Exchange? I have not been able to find anything on this. It does not happen just to users with BlackBerries but I have several users without that have to clean out the old message in Outlook Web Access before the message will update.

I create a new message but do not know how to save it. When I close the window and go back to check that it has remained the same it has gone back to the old message that was previously posted.
