Have been on V6R1 for over 2 weeks on our Dev Box.
No real issues, some commands have additional parameters, ie; CRTSQLCBL and DSPUSRPRF.
Wanted to see what impact not doing Object Conversion would have, it is noticeable.
Other than that, nothing that I would call a Problem.
Hope this helps,
Bill Poulin

We've been running i 6.1 for more than two years. Other than early-release problems that always exist plus a few issues that IBM PTFed for us quite a while ago, it's been normal for us.

I installed V6R1 on my own box more than 2 years ago, and experienced no problems. Since then I have upgraded several systems for my customers, also without problems.
A couple of recommandations can be:
1. Let Tom and other ‘hard-core’ consultants do experiments like the one Tom performed. You should follow the IBM upgrade tasks.
2. Use imagecatalog to upgrade from.

PS: my V7R1 CDs are already placed in an imagecatalog, ready for me to push the button and go to V7R1
