I like to migrate a database which is in IBM OS/400 V5R3MO (Source)using iseries navigator to Oracle 10g.In the source database there are few stored procedures which I like to migrate from source to oracle too. As I know Oracle migration workbench works on V4R5 0R V4R3 but not on V5R3MO .So there any other tools will do or any other way please recommend. The requirement is very urgent and I will appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

I know this is an old question and the poster is probably long gone, but I would like to know how this turned out. I have heard plenty of horror stories about iSeries to Oracle conversions and would like to hear from someone who has actually experienced one.

You can use Infinite iSeries to rehost the native AS/400-based applications. Once migrated you migrate the data and write to Oracle. All the stored procedures are inherent in the Infinite iSeries environment. Btw...you can execute the apps from Linux, Windows, etc. No System i required.

Why go through all the hassle and expense of migrating, buying new hardware and software when you can concurrently run native i5 O/S, windows, Linux and AIX on one System i?
