 os390 to apple xserve file loses one byte
FTP, Mainframe, OS/390, Xserve
when transfering files from the os390 to an apple xserve the file comes up short one byte, same file from os390 to windows or linux works great. how do I fix this?

IBM and Apple

OS/390 ? You mean z/OS, formerly called OS/390 and even older MVS?
What you using to move the file?
I would assume it is some setting on the receiving end that is losing one byte.
One byte per file? per record? from the front? back? middle?
