oracle installation in win98


Oracle 8i, Oracle installation, Windows 98

When i install personal oracle8i, i got an error message oracle database could not start up it may be the problem of virtual memory .I reinstalled windows 98 and increased virtual memory but i got same problem.the oter thing is already it worked proprly and idon't no when the problem occured.Please help me what is the solution for it

It's probably talking about the Oracle virtual memory. You can increase this in the oracle config files.
