How can I install Oracle Forms 11g on Windows 7 (64bit)?

for developer, take out the stuff that has (x86) in your path. The Oracle installer does NOT like that in the path. Then do the install. After the install put them back in. After install take out the %PATH% out of emctl.bat in the SET PATH,  it’s in c:\oracle\middleware\as_1\bin as it will hose you when you try to bring up developer. Been a while since I’ve installed it, I think emctl.bat is the only one you need to remove it from after the install.

    The refhost.xml and oraparm.ini workaround worked just make sure you are installing Oracle 10.2.0.4 for Vista x64 and Win 2008 Server client version and not the Win XP x64" version
