Yesterday, I upgraded from Fedora 25 to 27. I rebooted my system but now my Oracle database will not start up. I believe I'm using Oracle 12.1.0.2. It just hangs there and nothing happens. What can I do here?

What specific error(s) is there? Is the upgrade completed fully? When Fedora starts is is showing any missing lib files or daemons? Is there any script to start Oracle? Have you checked the background services of Oracle are running after logging Fedora desktop? You can try to start/restart the services of Oracle manually, please link here: https://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b32009/strt_stp.htm#UNXAR002
