Oracle DataBase Connectivity


Database issues, Very Large Databases

Hi, Gurus,
I am a Oracle Db Administrator managing about 5 Gb DB on windows NT. There are approx 100 user connecting concurently from clients on Win 9x,XP And Win NT Ws.
Last Day What happened one Xp Client Hung causing all to hung. The client machine was hard booted.
After that any one trying to connect to Oracle 8.1.7 Database get only one message TNS Protocol adapter Error.
We have reinstalled TCPIp ,
Started listner, it starts then does not permits any connection.
Save Me Please, Or They will beat me up.
