hi, I need to install oracle client 7.3.4 on windows 2003 server. When I tried ,seemed like there is product available latest for only windows NT. Is there any work around for this ? ------------ If there is no way we can install ora client 7.3.4 on windows 2003. How do I handle the OCI calls with ora client 8.1?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

I believe there is no work around for this 7.3.4 client on win2K. Why you need 7.x old client?
if you want to handle OCI with 8i client, you should install 8i client and select custom install.

Hi, I have an application using OCi calls . This application has been developed in windows 2000 with oracle 7.3.4 client. Now I am trying to upgrade the server to windows 2003, and now with oracle 8.1.7 . I see that the OCI calls are not working . So far I used Administrator mode of installation. What feature is it under custom installation that i need to look out for to make the OCI calls work
