    In which aspect did you ask for? If you have intention to do job on database/database administrator, yes, it is helpful, assuming you asked for the same. Oracle has several certifications and they are different from each other. You did not reveal either you are working or not. Oracle certifications are global certification and it is acceptable almost all countries.

    If you are working with Java tech, you will always need to know oracle to database connectivity. Another point is also there, the queries which are used in Oracle is almost same as queries in MySQL and SQL. By having Oracle certificate you have a big chance to get job as soon as you decide to get job.
