UNFORTUNATELY – this didn’t work! I could definitely see the changes as I selected other templates, but I think the problem is actually with the “Calendar” template, which is supposed to be the default. I can’t trace what changes I could have made to this template, but I think this template has been modified (somehow) to make it smaller.

Do you know how the template itself could be changed? In the code, I see that the width is 100% but it’s still showing as 50% of the screen. :(
