Oracle 9i Query Time


Database issues, Database Management Systems, Very Large Databases, Total size of the database, s, in use in organization, Oracle

What would be an expected time to run a query that will extract 1.4 million records?

There are two tables involved. Customer and Address.
And No Condition.

no conditions? there had better be a join condition!!

what time to run it? depends on the machine it's running on, whether there is anything else running on it at the same time, how much memory the machine has, and so on

that said, i'm afraid i cannot help you any further, because i'm not a DBA

you really need your DBA in your organization to answer this question
