Also, have you tried disabling the windows firewall temporarily ?

I had a similar problem once, and I was only able to solve it by reinstalling IE.

thanx fr all the help bt still my problem is unsolved.Im not able to run forms.Internet explorer 8 gives a message that it has encountered a problem and needs to be close.things i hv done so far.Installed Jinitiator,also started OC4J instance.When i ran my form it gave a windows security alert about JAVAC,asking me block/unblock it.I unblocked it….After some time my form ran ..Idon knw how..But then again I got a windows security alert for ORACLE RUNFORMS.I unblocked it too..Now again my browser gives the same msg..What to do???I have set compatibility view for all website and in form builder >edit>preferences>runtime>reset default.
plzzz help
Im using windows XP HOme edition …Internet explorer 8 is not able to run my form..

Are you getting some error message ?

Did you change something after the form ran successfully ?
Are you trying to run the foRm from Forms Builder ?, if so, have you started the OC4J ?
